We built the one you don't take off.

We read about 150 reviews of thumb supports before we made one. Not ours. Everyone else's.

The five-star reviews all said the same thing, and it was never "less pain." It was a task. Shovelling. Scrubbing. Counting change at a register. Playing drums at 68. Getting it under a garden glove.

The one-star reviews said the same thing as each other too. The velcro stopped holding after a week. A seam cut into the joint that already hurt. There was nothing in the palm, just fabric. And then the line that shows up over and over in the fair, four-star reviews from people who wanted it to work:

"It helps a lot when I wear it, but I find myself taking it off to do things like type."

That is the whole problem with this category. Everything on offer makes you choose between using your hand and protecting it. Rest protects it by taking it out of your life. A rigid splint protects it by locking your wrist. A soft sleeve lets you work but isn't doing much of anything.

What we made

Everlow sits in your palm, over the muscle at the base of your thumb. When you grip, that muscle can't bulge outward, so the force redirects backward into the thumb bone and holds it steady on its joint instead of shoving it sideways. Your own hand does the work. Your fingers, your wrist and the tip of your thumb stay free.

We didn't invent that mechanism. Hand therapists have splinted this joint that way for years. What we built was a version that survives the job.

What we won't tell you

A thumb support does not cure arthritis. It doesn't rebuild cartilage and it doesn't stop anything progressing. Anyone promising that is selling you something. What it does is change what happens to that joint while you use your hand, and it's made for the activities that hurt, not for wearing all day.

We think being straight about that is worth more than a bigger claim.

How we sell it

Both hands, one box, because it's rarely just the one thumb. Two spare straps, because that's the part that fails first. Photo-based sizing instead of a tape measure, and a free exchange if we get it wrong. Ninety days to send it back. No countdown timers, no stock warnings, no manufactured urgency.
